Ethnic storage stool L 38x38x47cm

Table or stool with a golden metal structure and removable top, with storage capacity. The top is upholstered with a hand-woven loom woven in Peru at an altitude of 4000 metres. Its structure gives the stool a light look, contrasting the rustic, warm and handcrafted style of the loom with the contemporary style of the legs. The stool’s base is made of a velvety strawberry-coloured fabric. Due to its height, it can be used both around the coffee table and to sit at a dining or work table. A very attractive and also practical piece for organizing meetings at home!

The stool measures 35x35x41cm (length x width x height) and the seat is 41cm above the ground.

The ethnic carpet with which it is upholstered is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano, between 3000 and 5000 meters above sea level. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other end to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool to make the drawings (cross and diamonds in orange and green). Being such a manual work, it may present small irregularities and “perfect imperfections”.

The looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
