Ethnic bench with iron legs upholstered with an elegant ethnic rug. It is a very original and attractive bench, warm and modern at the same time. A very special piece that will catch the attention of those who see it and will bring to your new home the warmth of a handmade fabric, the freshness of a piece of contemporary design and the exotic touch of a piece woven in Peru, in a private house at more than 3,500 meters above sea level.

The ethnic bench measures 142 cm long, 45 cm deep and 40 cm high.

It is a very decorative and functional bench. It has a custom-made solid wood structure, strong enough for two or three people to sit on.

The ethnic rug with which it is upholstered is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano, at an altitude of between 3,000 and 5,000 meters. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a stick and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone was used to braid the wool to make the drawings (X’s and diamonds in orange and green). As it is such a manual work, it can present small irregularities and “perfect imperfections”.

The looms are made of 100% sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color can vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
