Ethnic bench 120x45x40cm

Ethnic bench with wooden legs upholstered with an elegant ethnic rug hand-woven high in the Andes with strawberry background and plant-inspired pattern in a grayish green. It is a very elegant piece that is very original and eye-catching. Its structure is made of solid wood. It is ideal for placing in front of the coffee table, as it is slightly lower than coffee tables and does not detract from visibility. It also looks great in front of a double bed or in the entrance hall of the house.

It measures 120 cm long, 45 cm deep and 40 cm high.

It is a unique piece a very decorative and functional bench, it is sturdy enough to seat two or three people.

The ethnic carpet with which it is upholstered is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano, between 3000 and 5000 meters above sea level. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other end to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool to make the drawings (Xs and diamonds in orange and green). Being such a manual work, it may present small irregularities and “perfect imperfections”.

The looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
