Framed ethnic loom 73x52x3cm.

The loom is part of an ethnic rug, hand-woven at more than 3500 meters above sea level in the Andean Altiplano. It is 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments.

The framing is handmade. The outer frame is made of ayous wood, a tree native to central and western Africa. Its miters are worked and decorated with plaster and patinas in a handcrafted way. It has double passe-partout with colors that highlight the loom. The front is made of a high quality methacrylate that looks like glass but allows us to ship it with peace of mind. We include a socket to hang it on the wall, it is prepared to be placed both horizontally and vertically.
