Framed Child Sculpture – 04

95,00

Sculpture of the child Jesus or “huaguagualta” made by hand in the mountains of Peru with a mass of rice, potatoes and chuño. It is inspired by the colonial culture, where the Catholic culture and the Andean ancestral beliefs converge, very inspired by nature. This confluence can be seen in some details, such as the fact that the child resembles a chrysalis, wrapped and with a crown that opens organically, like a flower.

They are molded by hand, each piece is unique in its design and painting. This child is decorated with a mustard background and details in maroon, light pink and a green dot, with typical Andean symbols and also with flowers that represent joy and spring.

We have framed this sculpture in a box-style frame, 4cm deep, measuring 27x27cm. We have chosen as a background a handmade woven loom made of sheep wool dyed with natural pigments.
