Framed Child Sculpture – 03

75,00

Sculpture of the child Jesus or “huaguagualta” made by hand in the mountains of Peru with a mass of rice, potatoes and chuño. It is inspired by the colonial culture, where the Catholic culture and the Andean ancestral beliefs converge, very inspired by nature. This confluence can be seen in some details, such as the fact that the child resembles a chrysalis, wrapped and with a crown that opens organically, like a flower.

It is molded by hand, each piece is unique in its design and polychromy. This child is decorated in shades of red with touches of yellow, fuchsia and green.

We have framed this sculpture in a wooden frame that measures 16x21cm. We have chosen as a background a handmade woven loom made of sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Put it on the table or at the entrance of the house so that it accompanies you!
