Child Sculpture – 05

Sculpture of baby Jesus made by hand in the mountains of Peru with a mass of plaster, rice and potatoes. It is inspired by colonial culture, where Catholic culture and ancestral Andean beliefs converge, highly inspired by nature.

This figure is molded by hand, each piece is unique in its design and paint. This figure’s cap catches my attention, both because of the elongated finish and with a pompom, and because of the earflaps, which is reminiscent of the typical chullo. It is decorated with a mustard background and has flowers and details in orange, red, green and black. The figure has a flat and stable base that allows it to be placed on any surface, or even hung on the wall (it comes with a hook).

Its dimensions are 24 long and 13 wide.
