Child Sculpture – 03

Sculpture of baby Jesus made by hand in the mountains of Peru with a dough of rice, potatoes and chuño. It is inspired by the colonial culture, where the Catholic culture and the Andean ancestral beliefs converge, very inspired by nature. This confluence can be appreciated in some features such as in babies, which in many cases resemble chrysalis, or in the triangular shape of the virgin (narrow at the top and wide at the base), mountain type, which alludes to the ” pachamama” or mother earth.

This figure is molded by hand, each piece is unique in its design and paint. It is decorated with a mustard background and has flowers and details in orange, red, green and black. The figure has a flat and stable base that allows it to be placed on any surface, or even hung on the wall (it comes with a hook).

Its dimensions are 30 long and 11 wide.
