Child Sculpture – 01

Sculpture of the child Jesus or “huaguagualta” made by hand in the mountains of Peru with a mass of rice, potatoes and chuño. It is inspired by the colonial culture, where the Catholic culture and the Andean ancestral beliefs converge, very inspired by nature. This confluence can be seen in some features such as in babies, which in many cases resemble chrysalises, or in the triangular shape of the virgin (narrow at the top and wide at the base), mountain type, which alludes to the « “pachamama” or mother earth.

This figure is molded by hand, each piece is unique in its design and paint. It is decorated with a salmon background and has flowers and details in red, blue, green and raw details. The figure has a stable base that allows it to be placed on any surface, or even hung on the wall (it comes with a hook).

Its dimensions are 23 long and 10 wide.
