Ex voto or mexican milagrito of brass cut, bent, embossed, lacquered and enameled by hand. It is made in Oaxaca, southern Mexico. They are very decorative, have bright colors and no two are alike. Place it on the wall, on a table or hang it with a pin from the headboard of the bed.

The votive offerings have a religious meaning and are related to a “vow”, a promise, petition or thanksgiving made to a saint or the Virgin. Traditionally, they were very explanatory illustrations left by the faithful in churches, illustrating how a “little miracle” had allowed them to get out of very complicated situations.
