Frazada Runner AD043 159x72cm

195,00

Ethnic pasillera rug of 159x72cm made of sheep’s wool woven high in the Andes. It is a loom with three borders of different colours and very special designs, especially fuchsia, orange and red. Of this model we have two rugs which are also reversible.

Its width is smaller than other ethnic rugs. In fact, this is only one of the two looms that make up an ethnic rug. It can be used as a runner, as a table runner, to cover the seat of a sofa…

This Cusquenian blanket is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It is woven on a wooden loom which is tied at one end to a pole and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone is used to plait the wool when weaving the patterns. As it is such a manual work, it can present small irregularities and ‘perfect’ imperfections.

The looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its colour may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.

We recommend dry cleaning.
