Frazada Runner AC002 160x78cm

170,00

160x78cm Frazada rug made of sheep wool woven high in the Andes. It has a background in orange tones, with smooth and marbled borders with geometric drawings in red, black and aqua green tones.

Its width is less than other ethnic rugs. In fact this is only one of the two looms that make up an ethnic rug. It can be used as a hallway rug, as a table runner, to cover the sofa seat…

This Cusco blanket is handwoven in the South American Altiplano. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a stick and at the other end to the weaver’s waist. A bone from an alpaca has been used to braid the wool when creating the patterns. Due to the manual nature of the work, it may have small irregularities and ‘perfect’ imperfections.

The looms are made entirely of sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and is sensitive to direct light.

We recommend dry cleaning the rug.
