Frazada Runner AB020 161×68

Frazada runner of 161×68 cm made of sheep’s wool woven high in the Andes. It combines plain stripes in shades of pink, yellow, orange, aquamarine green and ecru. The perimeter of this loom is worked by a simple finial.

Its width is narrower compared to other ethnic carpets. In fact, this is only one of the two looms that make up an ethnic carpet. It can be used as a hallway rug, table runner, to cover the sofa seat…

This Cusco blanket is woven by hand in the South American Altiplano. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other end to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool to make the drawings. Being such a manual work can present small irregularities and “perfect” imperfections.

The looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
