Ethnic rug measuring 175x168cm made of sheep wool woven high in the Andes. A very special piece due to the complexity of its work. Only weavers with great skill and experience are capable of making this type of loom. In this case, it has a beautiful design in reddish and pink tones with some turquoise details.

This Cusco blanket is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a stick and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool when making the drawings. As it is such a manual work, it may present small irregularities and “perfect” imperfections.

The looms are made of 100% sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
