Cusco blanket 145x149cm made of sheep’s wool woven high in the Andes. It has borders in vibrant colours highlighting green, red and blue. With very special designs.

This Cusquenian blanket is handwoven in the South American Altiplano. It is woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone is used to plait the wool when weaving the patterns. As it is such a manual work, it can present small irregularities and ‘perfect’ imperfections.

Ethnic looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its colour may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
