Frazada AC004 194x164cm

340,00

A 194x164cm Cusco frazada made of sheep’s wool woven high in the Andes. A rug that stands out mainly for its length. It has plain stripes in bright colours such as blue, fuchsia and orange.

This Cusquenian blanket is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It is woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone is used to plait the wool when weaving the patterns. As it is such a manual work, it can present small irregularities and ‘perfect’ imperfections.

Ethnic looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its colour may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.

We recommend dry cleaning.
