Frazada 170x153cm made of sheep wool woven high in the Andes. The colours of the borders of this rug are very special as they are very fine, and have a spectacular combination of colours such as pink with red or blue with fuchsia.

This rug is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It is woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a pole and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone is used to plait the wool when weaving the patterns. As it is such a manual work, it can present small irregularities and ‘perfect imperfections’.

The looms are made of 100% sheep’s wool dyed with natural pigments. Its colour may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
