Maché vase modeled stripes 28x28x30cm

Vase handmade in papier-mâché and hand painted in India, in the Mehrauli area. The stripes are painted on the relief, it is a very original and irregular piece. To make the vase, paper scraps have been used, which, dissolved in water and crushed with stones, are mixed with clay to become a mass that is molded, sometimes by hand and sometimes using rustic molds. Once dry, it is painted by hand with bright colors obtained from natural pigments.

The vase measures 28cm long, 28cm deep and 30cm high.

As it is made of paper, it should not get wet or damp.
