Colombian lid basket 01 30x30x15cm

Basket with lid of iraca palm woven in natural color, ivory type. It is handmade in northern Colombia, near Ecuador, with a process that requires time, patience and a lot of skill. The basket has a woven zigzag around the perimeter outside the lid, which is very decorative and reminiscent of a star. This basket with a lid is very practical for storing things that we don’t want to leave in sight and, personally, I use it to serve hot bread.
