Colombian Rigid Basket 019 19x19x7cm

Woven iraca palm basket in vibrant colors. It is handmade in northern Colombia, near Ecuador, with a process that requires time, patience and a lot of skill. The upper part is decorated with waves woven with the fiber itself. It is a rigid basket with a that can be used as a storage container but its interior is so beautiful that we like it better without anything inside to show it off to the fullest. It is a very decorative element!

Baskets are unique pieces and there may be differences between one and another of the same model. They are made of very fine and delicate natural fibers, so fine that they look like yarn! They are very well finished and have a spectacular colorful design.
