Mache Flowers Vase 25x25x28cm

Handmade paper mache modeled vase, hand painted and decorated with mirror inlays, made in India, in the Mehrauli area. It is a very original, cheerful and colorful vase, decorated with flowers painted in pink and blue tones and green twigs. Its background is vanilla colored and the top and bottom are finished in an intense and striking orange.

To make the vase, paper scraps have been used, which, dissolved in water and crushed with stones, are mixed with clay to become a mass that is molded, sometimes by hand and sometimes using rustic molds. When it is semi-dry, the mirrors are inlaid and, when completely dry, it is painted by hand with bright colors obtained from natural pigments.

It measures 25cm long, 25cm deep and 28cm high.
