Mache Vase 20x20x36cm

Handmade paper mache modeled vase, hand painted and decorated with mirror inlays, made in India, in the Mehrauli area. It is a very original and elegant vase, with only three shades: dark red, black and ecru. Being tall it is very stylized, you can decorate it with cotton flower sticks (or others that do not need water) and it will be very decorative.

To make the vase, paper scraps have been used, which, dissolved in water and crushed with stones, are mixed with clay to become a mass that is molded, sometimes by hand and sometimes using rustic molds. When it is semi-dry, the mirrors are inlaid and, when completely dry, it is painted by hand with colors obtained from natural pigments.

It measures 20cm long, 20cm deep and 36cm high.

As it is made of paper, it should not get wet or damp. You can wash it using a dust cloth.
